A-muse Project 9th Anniversary Live: PLANET 9 was an immersive live-show experience held at Backdock Arts in Brisbane/Meanjin in November of 2023.
Calling back to A-muse's first single 'Hoshi e no Rocket' (Rocket to the Stars), we took our audience on a journey to the mysterious Planet 9, defeated an evil alien overlord, and made a few intergalactic friends along the way.

Since this live show was themed as a space mission, I took inspiration from NASA's famous mission patches from over the years when I created this merchandise - including our very own Planet 9 woven mission patch. The visual story for the show was also inspired by laser tag aesthetics - which led me to the decision to make as much of the merch glow in the dark as possible. We wanted to replicate the atmosphere of being at Laserforce as a kid and being piled into the 'mission briefing room' with all your friends and shown a video about the 'mission' you were about to embark on, and everyone's socks and teeth are glowing under the UV lights.
(and yes - we did make a mission briefing video to open the show)
